Travel: Montigo Resorts at Batam

It's been forever, only because I have again been really busy. But here's something really useful for all you busy people out there, over the weekends I made a trip over to Montigo Resorts with Tim and his secondary school friends. I was extremely excited, for one I have been wanting to visit Montigo Resorts and now there's awesome group company. All the better isn't it?? (: So we took a ferry via WaveMaster and it's about a 30mins journey from Tanah Merah Ferry terminal to Nongsapura Customs. Upon reaching Nongsapura Ferry terminal, an arranged shuttle service will be made to Montigo Rosrts, it's a pretty short distance say about 10mins?

Upon arrival, we were greeted with cold towels and a drink. It was lovely for the warm weather and the service standards remind me so much of Andara at Phuket. Although we did find the waiting time a little draggy, but that's okay! We had a pleasant view of the scenery, and you could see Singapore from where we at. Lovely sight! So then we had a buggy to drive us to our villa, the one we resided was at Hill Top villa. Montigo Resorts has a few resorts and the one I really would love to experience is the Spa Villa!

So here's a go at Montigo Resorts:

 Living Room

 Rooftop BBQ dining area.
Little details I appreciate! (: love the woody scandinavian theme

In the open space kitchen :D

Master Bedroom toilet

Leisure corner at the main pool.

 Main Poolside

View from the Master bedroom <3 nbsp="" p="">

Isn't it beautiful!?

Here's a few tips and summary of the trip I've done up for you guys!

-BBQ set and food can be arranged. It is approximately 30+ per person excluding the BBQ Pit set up.
-Opt to cook your own dinner in your kitchen, however remember to buy food from Singapore
-Dine in at their restaurants, they've got a chinese seafood restaurant and a western restaurant at your favour to decide
-Breakfast buffets are pretty much the same as elsewhere, their Lontong Sayur is a must try.
-Food at the snack bar (Main Poolside) is of reasonable price about SGD5/side order

-Buy your own water
-You can get beers at Nongsapura Ferry Terminal at a really good deal, we bought a carton at $44 bucks

-They do accept SGD, so there's no need to change to Rupiah (I find this crucially important)
-Mastercard, VISA are welcome. DO remember to activate your card for overseas usage.

-Mostly sunny
-Tropical Weather so do expect rain

-Well they are working on their beach, but according to the staff they will arrange for a transport to send you to their neighbour to play some sea sports

-Tennis court
- Wii console but there's only one game (Mario Kart) so bring your own!
- Sea Sports
- Cycling
- Golf at Palm Springs
- Buggy tour around the resort
- Fooseball at the main poolside
- Opt for a tour to Batam City centre trip over will take about 45mins
- Or relax and take a spa or massage cost about SGD50-60/hour

Overall we had such a great time in Montigo Resorts and I believe I will be back for more with my girlfriends this time round!! ((:

Every villa comes with a private pool! (: So here's tim, flying without wings. Taken with my iPhone5.

At the rooftop! Taken with Canon G1X

 Fooseball time!
"Oh yea, oh yea, we are the winners!!"
-Till the next time! See you again!! <3 nbsp="" p="">
