Dora's Kitchen!

HELLO GUYS!! Here's another moment with me in the "kit-chan". I'm gonna share with you a meal that cost less than $10 bucks!! GOOD?? The following ingredients are found in my fridge, so here you go! Life is good!! :D

Caulimash Recipe

Ingredients:
-3 Russet potatoes
-Handful of Cauliflower
-Unsalted Butter 1/3stick
-Milk
-Salt
-Pepper

Method:
-Place potatoes in tap water before turning up the stove, boil till soft (stick a fork into the potato if it disintegrates it means it's ready to be out of the pot, well not really, we still need them potatoes in the pot)
-While waiting for the potatoes to boil, grind cauliflowers(fine consistency)
-Drain off water and put it back on medium-low heat, mash the potatoes with mashers, gradually add in the 1/3 stick of butter. Add in cauliflowers, salt and pepper to taste.
-Continuously stir for another 4minutes, turn the stove off and add in 1/4 cup of milk. Stir for another 2-3minutes till you reach a nice consistency.
- Allow dish to cool for at least 10minutes

Cajun Cheesy Chicken

Ingredients:
-Chicken Breast
-Cheddar Cheese
-Cooking string
-Rosemary
-Cajun Seasoning (McCormick)

Method:
-Prepare the chicken breast, slice 3/4 through the thickest part of the chicken breast NOTE: CRUCIAL NOT TO HALVE THE CHICKEN BREAST.
-Season the chicken breast with Cajun seasoning, stuff cheddar cheese in between the chicken breast
-Tie chicken breast in parts of 4, should be sufficient for a chicken breast. slide in the rosemary. Allow it to set for 5mins if not more.
-Prepare a non-stick pan, I used Happy Call! Favorite pan ever :) Add olive oil over medium high heat and pan fry for about 10-12mins.
-Cut through the thickest portion and check if breast meat is cooked.
-Allow it to rest for 10mins, cut into cute little rolls and serve!

You may add tomato grills, or salad to go along with your quick and easy lunch! Drop me a picture at @adorayeo on instagram to show me your try with this dish!!

Toodles,
Adora
